Nuno Almeida

Nuno Almeida is a dedicated public servant with a diverse and extensive background in emergency services. Born in Portugal and immigrating to the United States at the age of two, Nuno has lived a life committed to serving his community. He grew up in Connecticut, where he began his journey in emergency medical services at a young age.

At just 13, Nuno started working with the Wethersfield Volunteer Ambulance Association and became an EMT by the age of 16. His passion for helping others also led him to join the Newington Volunteer Fire Department. In 1997, Nuno's dedication took him to the U.S. Coast Guard, where he served until 2005.

Nuno's career in emergency services continued to grow as he became a paramedic in 2000. Five years later, he expanded his role in public safety by becoming a police officer. Today, Nuno serves as both a police officer and a paramedic in the metro Boston area, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to both roles.

In addition to his professional duties, Nuno has been a committed instructor of First Aid and CPR since 1995, sharing his expertise and ensuring others are prepared to save lives. As a father of two and husband, Nuno's personal and professional life is marked by his dedication to his family and his community.

"I am deeply passionate about serving my community and sharing my knowledge and experience with anyone who will listen. There is nothing more fulfilling than knowing I can make a difference in someone's life. In an ever-changing world, it's our duty to be prepared and ready to save lives when needed. Let's come together, learn, and ensure we're always ready to help those in need. God bless. " -Nuno Almeida
